About GGCM
Meet the Overseer
Rev. Wanda Taylor, CEO and Founder
Global Great Commission Ministry
Reverend Wanda Taylor was introduced to international ministry in 2012 during her mission trip to Suriname, South America. It was during that trip that Wanda believes that God has called her to the nations to declare the Good News, to show love and support to the needy. Wanda understands that it is by His power that she has won many souls on foreign soil in places such as South America, the Netherlands, Honduras, Jamaica, and East Africa.
Her joyful and energetic, yet humble spirit is infectious and is often sought after to preach and teach the word of God domestically and internationally. Her heart for God’s people is evident in her walk, talk and her service to others.
Wanda feels that it is important to grow in the knowledge, understanding and love of God, to have hope and a future. Wanda is committed to the sharing God’s word, principles and promises to lead others to Christ. She chooses to trust and rely upon God in her daily walk. Her motto is to “Give God the praise in and through all situations and circumstances.” Her favorite scripture is Philippians 3:12-14, which encourages her to press through the obstacles of life as she humbly and happily, works in God’s vineyard.
The Birth of GGCM
As I reflect on the purpose of Global Great Commission Ministry being fulfilled, I am reminded about the persistence and perseverance of a young Kenyan girl who waited patiently with hope. It was on the last night of the 9th Annual Mega Conference in Kiserian, Kenya at the J.E.M. church under the leadership of Pastor Peter Gunn.
The young girl who waited by the door was an orphan born with HIV Aids, who had recently lost her last family members to the disease. She needed help and felt a need for me to pray for her. For three nights she sat by the door of the office waiting for that opportunity.
Finally, she was brought to see me. She boldly narrated her tragic story to me and asked me to pray for her. Unbeknownst to me, God was orchestrating a divine connection. God was forming Global Great Commission Ministry in and through that prayer.
The connection was made in 2019 when Magret was a sophomore in High School. When I returned home through prayer and meditation GGCM was born and began to sponsor Magret’s education. Magret finished high school and went on to Junior College and completed the required training for a Nursing Assistance Certification. GGCM continues its educational outreach in East Africa and has since sponsored five youths in Kenya and one youth in Uganda from grade school to high school.
Meet Magret
During the 2019 Annual Conference in Kenya, East Africa, Magret patiently waited after service outside the door of the pastor’s office for 2 nights requesting prayer. The bold Magret narrated her tragic story of being an orphaned HIV survivor to the pastor, Bishop Peter Gunn.
She was in her second year of high school when Rev. Wanda agreed to sponsor her education through High school and a Nursing Assistance program in 2024.
